Returning Spirits
Blue vampires in Evan Caminiti's new solo album
20 Jun 2012
Created to accompany his track Returning Spirits from his latest album Night Dust, American musician EVAN CAMINITI invokes haunting atmospheres in this short film composed of collected Youtube footage. Also known as one half of the West Coast drone-duo Barn Owl based in San Francisco, Caminiti recorded this new album on a 4 track cassette. Partially inspired by Eighties vampire movies’ washed out hues and the Farallon Islands, Caminiti explores komische and devotional themes.
Night Dust by EVAN CAMINITI is released by Immune Recordings.
